Preview performances for the Broadway revival of Noel Coward's classic comedy Private Lives, starring Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross, begin November 6. Opening night is set for November 17 at the Music Box Theatre.
Private Lives centers on the glamorous, rich and reckless Amanda (Cattrall) and her ex-husband Elyot (Gross). Honeymooning in the south of France with their new spouses, the two meet again across adjoining hotel balconies, rekindling their feelings for each other.
Directed by Richard Eye, the production also features Simon Paisley Day, Anna Madeley and Caroline Lena Olsson. The show played a successful pre-Broadway engagement earlier this fall in Toronto. Cattrall also played Amanda in Eyre’s 2010 West End production of the play.
